It’s been just a year since Monette Mabolo assumed the manager’s role for the intensive and progressive care units at Duke Raleigh Hospital. But what a year it’s been. She and the staff have worked very hard to build teams that work together to provide the best patient care possible. I sat down with her in early September to learn more about where they are on their journey, specifically their intensive care unit’s journey to achieve zero bloodstream infection rates, and how they’ve gotten there.
