DRH on the road to Red Apple status

Durham Regional is working to reach “Red Apple” Status, which means the hospital has adopted the North Carolina Prevention Partners’ (NCPP) nutrition criteria and implemented the five principles of a healthy food environment, making healthy foods the easy and affordable choice.

Soon, nutritional facts will be provided for all meals and Reggie, the “Eat for Life” symbol that represents healthy choices,” will be posted on healthy eating choices.
