DUH holiday events are Dec. 17
posted December 15th, 2009Duke Hospital will celebrate the holidays on Dec. 17 with music, punch and sweet treats in the Duke North lobby from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. A nighttime event will be held from 10 p.m.-midnight in the Duke North Atrium Cafeteria.
A university-wide holiday reception and concert will be held Dec. 18 in Duke Chapel.
There will be two musical performances -- noon and 1:15 p.m. -- and desserts and hot beverages on the Duke Chapel lawn before and after each performance.
The concert is produced by Duke Human Resources through a call for Duke singers. More than 30 staff and faculty members were selected to perform after auditions. The music reflects the diverse musical and cultural traditions of the singers.

11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., desserts and hot beverages served on the Duke Chapel lawn
11:45 a.m.-noon, chapel doors open/guests seated
Noon -12:45 p.m., first performance
1 p.m.-1:15 p.m., chapel doors open/guests seated
1:15 p.m.-2 p.m., second performance
