Duke Presidential Award nominations due Feb. 19

Submit nominations for the Presidential Awards – one of the highest and most prestigious honors given to Duke University and Duke University Health System personnel.

Nominate employees in each of the five categories: Clerical/Office Support, Clinical/Professional Non-Managerial, Service/Maintenance, Managerial or Executive Leadership.

Each of the five winners will receive $1,000 and a custom-minted Presidential Medallion. President Brodhead will present these awards at an Awards Luncheon on April 22, 2010.

Up to 25 meritorious winners will each receive $100 and a framed certificate and an engraved pen. All nominees whose nomination packets are accepted will receive a bound booklet containing the nomination testimonial and supporting letters and documents.

Any Duke staff or faculty member can nominate someone for a Presidential Award.
