Edward Bowen, SOM graduate and trustee emerties, dies at 74
posted July 22nd, 2010Edward G. Bowen, a 1959 graduate of the Duke University School of Medicine and Duke trustee emeritus, died Tuesday. He was 74.
Bowen in 1990 received the Charles A. Duke Award as an outstanding alumnus of Duke. Bowen served as a university trustee from 1999 until 2006. He also was president of Duke’s Medical Alumni Association and chair of the 50th reunion for his undergraduate class.
