Ehlers receives distinguished investigator award

Michael D. Ehlers, professor of neurobiology, has received a one-year, $100,000 Distinguished Investigator Award from NARSAD, the leading charity for research on mental health disorders.
Ehlers is a professor and Wakeman Scholar in neurobiology at Duke, a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Investigator and a member of the Duke Institute for Brain Sciences.
He is using the award to develop a mouse model of the dopamine system’s neuronal circuitry.
