FON Nursing Excellence Award nominations due May 31

Don’t let the May 31st deadline slip past you this year. It’s easy to fill out a nomination form for a deserving nurse.

Just go to http://staff.nursing.dukehealth.org/ and click on the “Friends of Nursing” tab located on the left navigation bar.

A well-deserved nomination can make a nurse’s day—and the possibility of being named one of the Excellence Award winners is one of the highest honors bestowed to a DUHS nurse.

The 36 winners from across the health system will receive a $1,000 educational stipend, a gold trophy and gold pin. Then, on November 20 the nominees and winners will be recognized at the annual Friends of Nursing Gala, which is attended by 800 colleagues, families and guests.

So don’t delay—May 31 will be here before you know it.
