Food, fun, music celebrate World Heart Day

Take your family for an afternoon of food and fun on World Heart Day.

From 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 28, the Congenital Heart Family Picnic gives Duke Pediatric Cardiology staff, patients and families a chance to come together and celebrate this special day.

Lunch will be supplied and activities will include face painting and pinatas. The Morrisville Fire Department will bring its fire trucks out for the kids to tour. The North Carolina Allstar Band will also play bluegrass music.

All the fun takes place at Lake Crabtree Park, 1400 Aviation Pkwy., Morrisville.
