Get Quit: Stop smoking workshops coming to DUH

posted March 22nd, 2010

You know how to smoke. Now, learn how to quit.

Get Quit -- Stop Smoking Workshops are coming to Duke Hospital. On Thursday, March 25 at Noon and 4:00 p.m., LIVE for LIFE and Pfizer are co-hosting two Free GET QUIT Clinics at Duke. Here’s their approach: No finger-pointing. No scary statistics. Just straightforward information from a tobacco treatment specialist and an ex-smoker who quit with the help of treatment and support. This is also a great opportunity for health professionals to experience a straight forward, effective approach to quitting. Both employees and Duke patients are welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be served.
