GME celebration week recognizes hard work
posted February 16th, 2009The Graduate Medical Education Office is sponsoring a week of celebration at Duke University Hospital during the month of February.
Feb. 16–20 marks the 6th-annual GME week, recognizing the dedication and hard work of GME trainees, training directors, and their respective residency program coordinators.
Events for the week include discounts from area businesses such as: The Regulator Bookstore, Duke Barbershop, Duke Medical Center Book Store—also lunch and/or breakfast provided by area restaurants.
Prizes have been donated from the Nantucket Grill, One World Market, Proshop Embroidery and other businesses.
The week will include a Residents’ Town Meeting and the Program Coordinators Annual Workshop. There will be prizes and a guess your GME staff baby picture game.
Also planned are: a Resident’s Town Meeting, Program Coordinator’s Workshop and a New Program Training Director’s Orientation.
