HealthView portal allows for Urgent Care appointments
posted June 21st, 2010Appointments for Urgent Care now are being offered through HealthView.
"It puts more power into the hands of the patient, so they have more of a hand in the flexibility they need for their appointments," said Henry McIntosh, who handles business applications for HealthView.
You need a HealthView account to schedule an Urgent Care visit. You can create an account at healthview.dukehealth.org.
From your account go to the appointment scheduling page and choose Urgent Care.
There are about 200,000 registered HealthView users throughout DUHS.
Recently, there have been several new features added to the portal for Primary Care, including online check in, insurance verification, paying for appointment related charges, and rescheduling appointments.
