May symposium highlights Duke-Singapore work

R Sanders Williams100R. Sanders Williams, M.D., senior vice chancellor for academic affairs, will convene “East Meets West: Singapore-Duke Research Collaborations” from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday, May 7, in the Levine Science Research Center Auditorium.

The symposium will feature the research synergies between Duke and Singapore-based colleagues, with presentations on research and potential areas of collaborationinvolving infectious diseases, health services, cancer, neurosciences, cardiometabolics, education and other clinical research.
