Medical, conversational Spanish classes coming this winter

In collaboration with the School of Nursing and the Latino Health Project at Duke, El Centro Hispano is offering medical and conversational Spanish classes from Jan. 25 to April 1.

Sessions will be held at Durham Regional Hospital and at Duke South.

The 10-week course meets once a week for two hours. The cost is $200 per person. The price does not include the textbook.

Level 1 classes meet from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Mondays in Duke South or from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Wednesdays at DRH.

Level 2 classes meet from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Mondays at DRH or from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesdays at Duke South.

Level 3 classes meet from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesdays at Duke South.

Level 4 classes meet from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday at Duke South.
