N.C. Social Work Group Honors Duke’s Cooley Gaffigan
posted April 16th, 2010Cooley Gaffigan, LCSW, of the Duke Family Care Program, which helps women with substance abuse problems with issues related to their children, was honored as social worker of the year by The North Carolina Society for Clinical Social Work at its annual ethics conference.
Gaffigan has worked in DUMC's Family Care Program, where she provides psychotherapy and case management services for mothers with addiction problems and their young children.
