Nowack receives ADA Patient Care Award

Debby Nowack, RN, CDE, received the 2010 American Diabetes Association’s (ADA) Patient Care Award. Nowack was honored for her commitment to patient care at the ADA’s seventh annual gala and awards program on January 23.
The award is given to individuals in North Carolina who are committed to providing outstanding patient education and care. These providers go above and beyond to educate patients and families about diabetes management.
Nowack manages Durham Regional’s Outpatient Nutrition and Diabetes Education Center.
