Record turnout for flu shots; season not over

The Duke workforce turned out in record numbers to receive the seasonal flu vaccine, which means a lowered threat of a flu outbreak through the rest of the season, said George Jackson, M.D., director of Employee Occupational Health and Wellness. More than 16,000 seasonal flu vaccinations have been administered since October – about half of all faculty and staff.
