Remembering and honoring our grief at work

For managers/supervisors/work groups who have experienced a staff death this year. A time and space for community, prayer, reflection, music, grief and hope to reflect on the losses of co-workers, family members and friends.

Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, 1–7 p.m., Duke Hospital, Room 1103, Department of Medicine Conference Room.

Memory tables will be available as well as a journal to write reflections. Participants can create a Leaf for the Tree of Memories.

1:30-2 p.m., Reading of the names of staff members who died this year, speakers, etc.

Let Joanna Parker (joanna.parker@duke.edu ) know names of staff, date of death and workplace for a complete list of names to be read at the service.
