Sign up for existing, new vanpools

Interested in vanpooling to Duke? Duke and Triangle Transit are adding members to existing vanpools, as well as creating vanpools from new starting locations to Duke.

From 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Aug. 3, you can stop by the table outside of the Cafeteria at Duke North Hospital to talk with a representative from Triangle Transit. You can learn about existing vanpools and provide information about where you would like a new vanpool to start from. Plus, grab some free goodies while you're there.

Duke offers many incentives for vanpooling:

•Triangle Transit provides the van and pays for gas, insurance and maintenance
•Triangle Transit vans park for free at Duke in a reserved space
•Riders pay a low monthly fare based on monthly round-trip mileage
•The primary driver does not pay
•Each participant receives 24 daily parking passes for times they need to drive separately
