TBJ Women in Business: Three from Duke honored
posted August 17th, 2010Paige Humble, director of Marketing and Communications at DRAH; Lynn Mitchell, assistant director of Human Resources at DRH; and Brenda Wilcox, a patient navigator at DRAH, were honored by the Triangle Business Journal with Women in Business Awards.
The awards honor the Triangle's most dynamic professional women. The event, in its 13th year, applauds their success, recognizes their many accomplishments and shares the stories of these extraordinary women.
More than 200 nominations were submitted this year and 26 women were awarded with a glass high heal Women in Business Award.
The event was held Aug 12, 2010 at the Sheraton Imperial, RTP.
Award categories included: Behind the Scenes, Community Supporter, Corporate Executive, Entrepreneur, Family Business, Innovation, Inspiration, Mentor, Nonprofit Leadership and a Lifetime Achievement Award.
This is the third year Durham Regional Hospital and Duke Raleigh Hospital were the presenting sponsors of the event.
