The ABCs of Urgent Care with Kevin Broyles
posted November 3rd, 2009W. Kevin Broyles, M.D. , senior medical director of Duke Urgent Care and associate chief medical officer of Duke Primary Care, will discuss the "ABCs of Urgent Care" at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 12 at the Duke Raleigh Cancer Center.
During this free Healthy Focus seminar, Dr. Broyles will discuss the qualities to look for when choosing an urgent care center; when patients should seek urgent care as opposed to primary or emergency care; the differences between stand-alone urgent care centers and those that are part of a health system; and Duke Urgent Care offerings, locations, and hours of availability. This program is part of the Healthy Focus series of community education programs at Duke Raleigh Hospital.
