Two Duke nurses receive national awards for leadership

Two DUHS nurses received national awards for leadership in their nursing field.

Ellen Cowan, MSN, RN, OCN, assistant director of Staff Development and Education Clinical Education and Professional Development at DUHS, received the 2010 Excellence in the Role of Nurse Professional Development Educator Award by the National Nursing Staff Development Organization.

 

 

 

 

 Jane Fellows, RN, MSN, CWOCN, DUHS Ostomy Clinical Nurse Specialist, received the Oncology Nursing Society's 2010 Excellence in Surgical Oncology Award for her contributions to the development of surgical oncology nursing practice.
