Vision research in Asia in focus at luncheon
posted November 7th, 2008The Department of Ophthalmology is hosting a special luncheon presentation, The State of Vision Research in Asia, at 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 12 in the AERI Auditorium. Lunch will be served and two speakers will present.
G. N. Rao, distinguished chair of eye health and founding director of the L.V. Prasad Eye Institute in Hyderabad, India, will present the “Role of Research in Developing Countries —Eye Health Problems.”
Donald Tan, medical director fo the Singapore National Eye Centre, will present “Vision Research in Asia—Creation of Asia ARVO.”
