Yard sale supports women’s health efforts

The Blue Jean Ball committee will host a yard sale to benefit the Duke Global Women’s Health Initiative from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Nov. 8. in the parking lot of the North Duke Street Health Clinic at 3116 North Duke St.
Items for sale will include furniture, clothes, bikes, cookware, jewelry, lamps, desks, TV, and DVD player. The event will also include a hot dog and bake sale. Free health screenings will be offered.
The second-annual Blue Jean Ball event will be held on Feb. 28, 2009.
