Dr. Discount: Try a double dose of fun festivals

Dr. Discount has just the prescription for culture-starved Duke employees.
Duke employees can get discounted tickets to the American Dance Festival and the annual Festival for the Eno River.
Take in two performances and call us in the morning. We're sure you'll feel much better.

American Dance Festival (684-6402): All Duke University employees receive 20 percent off single tickets to any 2009 ADF Season Performance. The season runs from June 11 to July 25. To take advantage of this offer, staff and faculty can go to the Duke University Box office website (www.tickets.duke.edu) and click on ADF. Please use discount coupon code 367569. Some restrictions may apply.
Festival for the Eno River (620-9099): Duke employees receive a 20 percent discount off gate ticket prices for the 2009 Festival for the Eno River, now through June 26th. Adult tickets for Duke employees are available at a discounted price of $12 for a one-day pass and $28 for a three-day pass. Kids age 12 and under, and adults age 65 and over, get in for free.
To order, call 919-620-9099 and dial O for the operator. Tickets must be ordered and paid for by 5pm on Friday, June 26th, to receive the Duke discount. Credit cards accepted. You will pick up your tickets at the festival will call ticket booth at the County Stadium Park & Ride lot, and you will need to show your Duke ID at that time.
The festival is a program of the Eno River Association, and all proceeds support the association's conservation and education efforts. The festival is July 3, 4 and 5. Hours are Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Sunday, noon-6 p.m. at West Point on the Eno Durham City Park. Park and ride for free from Durham County Stadium, located at North Duke Street and Stadium Drive. Enjoy three days of music, crafts, food, environmental education, and fun for the whole family.
