USAID’s Porter to address Haiti recovery efforts at 4th Annual Global Health Lecture
February 3rd, 2011On Thursday, February 3, 2011, Russell Porter, coordinator of the Haiti Task Team for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), will give the 4th Annual Global Health Lecture on “USAID in Haiti: One Year After the Earthquake…. A Vision for the Future” from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Duke University School of Nursing Auditorium.
Porter will discuss the challenges that still lie ahead for Haiti, the earthquake’s impact on health care and other sectors, and USAID’s recovery efforts.
