Alicia Hays: Colleagues notice her commitment to her patients

Alicia is a terrific therapist and our patients are fortunate to be able to work with her.
Alicia Hays, a physical therapist on Unit 7800 at DUH, received praise from a one of her colleagues, Colleen Traverse.
"I have seen Alicia work with our patient population, many of whom are being evaluated for lung transplants and are on high flow oxygen. There are times when these patients need much encouragement to ambulate, and need a calming presence to help them do so. I have observed Alicia staying beyond her shift, so that a patient can have a 2nd or a 3rd walk in for the day. Alicia is a terrific therapist and our patients are fortunate to be able to work with her."
