Aurora Changho, Duke Raleigh Dietary/Nutrition Services, received a Champions of Excellence award:
“Aurora’s commitment to service and patient care is her most admirable quality. She is often praised by her peers in her own department. One of her peers had the following to say: ‘She goes above and beyond. If a patient is not eating well, she will walk all the way down to the kitchen, gather a few menus, and then spend 30 minutes helping the patient select the menu, bringing it down to the kitchen again to make sure it doesn’t get misplaced.’ ”
