She went to the patient's home to notify their family about the patient's condition.
Brenda Young, a certified medical assistant at Henderson Family Medicine, received a quarterly Strength, Hope and Caring Award.
Her nominator wrote, "Brenda jumped in to help a patient, who didn't have a way to contact their family. She went to the patient's home to notify their family about the patient's condition. She even gave the patient's family member a ride back to the hospital. Many people wouldn't do something like this, especially on a Friday evening when everyone else is trying to get home to their own families. Way to go Brenda! The patient and their family were most appreciative of her kindness and selflessness."
