Charlene Snellings, supervisor of Patient Access Services at the clinic on Morreene Road, received a Quarterly Strength, Hope and Caring award for going out of her way to help a patient.

Jennifer Asbell, wrote: "On 11/9/2009 Charlene went out of her way to help a lost new patient to arrive at our clinic safe. The patient called and was very lost and upset. She was very nervous to be late to her appointment and was not familiar with the area. Charlene decided to hae the patient wait on 15-501, at the local Red Robin for her to arrive. Charlene drove 15 minutes to Red Robin, greeted the patient, and escorted them personally to our clinic. The patient and her husband were so greatful to Charlene that they wrote a comment card to thank her for her kindness. The card stated: "Charlene went out of her way to personally come out and get us when we were lost on the way to our appointment." Charlene's warm personality, loving manner and concern for the patient's safety make her a well deserving recipient of this award. It is truely a pleasure to work with Charlene on a daily basis."
