Denise Simpson, in Materials Management, is recognized for her excellent customer service and dedication to patient needs by Angela Richardson, BSN, RN, with the Department of Advanced Clinical Practice.
"Denise has always been eager to help our team locate the supplies we need to assist our ostomy and wound patients and does so with a smile on her face!!! Because of Denise, our team is able to deliver efficient and effective care, allowing us to expedite critical procedures. She is approachable and always goes out of her way to answer to any question we have (big or small). When I am in her presence, she is multi-tasking at its best….answering phone calls, answering other people’s questions that come into the warehouse and gathering supplies for delivery, never showing the stress that a majority of people in her shoes would. She has made serving our patient population a breeze and we can always depend on Denise for help! Please take the time to realize and acknowledge the “RARE GEM” you have in Denise.
