Derrick Wright: Small kindness, big impression
posted October 5th, 2009This was a kindness that touched my heart.
Derrick Wright, a lab tech in Clinic 1A, Surgical Oncology, received praise from Carol Franklin, RN.
"Last week he told me my shoe string was untied. He didn't want me to trip and fall. He got up from his station, bent down on one knee and tied my shoe for me. That was a first for me. People will tell you your shoe lace is untied. How many will stop and tie it for you? This was a kindness that touched my heart. Derrick is and excellent lab tech, if you need labs drawn."
