Dina Ibrahim, team leader for general surgery in the operating room at Duke Raleigh Hospital, received a High Five from Kim Nordan, a surgical technologist in the operating room at DRAH.
"Dina is a conscientious, courteous and a loving person with an extremely difficult job to do -- which she is excellent at!! She is constantly going above and beyond what her job title requires her to do. Dina alleviates problems that occur with her quick, intelligent decision making skills. Dina is a HUGE asset to the entire OR department, as well as a loving, caring patient advocate to patients before and after their surgery. Dina is always here ready to give with all she has -- she rarely takes a vacation and when she does, she calls up to the hospital several times during that particular day to make sure things are running smoothly. I enjoy her. She represents our hospital with pride. These are just a few reasons why I would like to recognize her."
