DUH and DRH SANE nurses: Providing invaluable work

We would not be able to do what we do without their invaluable and difficult work.

Sexual assault nurse examiners at DUH and DRH are recognized in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April by the Durham Crisis Response Center.

"We would not be able to do what we do without their invaluable and difficult work. SANE nurses have extensive training in forensic evidence collection and also provide much-needed emotional support for victims in the aftermath of sexual violence. At DUH Emergency Department, Theresa Arico, Tess Muro, Georgeanne Mullis, Wendy Craven and Yasmine Singleton. At DRH Emergency Department, Jennifer Lowe, Joy Tyson, Dianne Basnight, Val Larson and Melissa Supples Russell."
