Eddie Bedwell, Duke Raleigh Materials Management, received a Champions of Excellence award:
“Eddie Bedwell, quite simply, is the performance benchmark to which all other DUHS receiving personnel should aspire. His integrity is non-negotiable, consistently reporting over-shipments from our vendors and asking vendors to bill us for the overages we keep. This level of honesty makes resolution of reported shortages in shipment a simple one - since vendors know that if ‘Eddie says he didn’t get it, it wasn’t sent.’ No questions asked.”
