Janice Thorpe: Her work ethic stands out to others
posted March 21st, 2011
Janice voluntarily stayed at work after her normal time off in order to assist my patient (and me).
Janice Thorpe, a client services representative for DUHS Labs, received a quarterly Strength, Hope and Caring award. Her nominator describes the extra help she provided in assisting with a patient's lab work.
"Janice was very professional, she was understanding of my patient's (and my) predicament and she seemed concerned. She made several phone calls to locate the samples. She took the initiative to begin making plans for the samples to be looked at after hours. Janice voluntarily stayed at work after her normal time off in order to assist my patient (and me). If this is representative of Janice's routine work ethic, your group is very fortunate."
