Kimberly Bullock: Caring attitude, personal interest
posted March 12th, 2009
Kimberly Bullock, LPN at Timberlyn Family Medical Center, received a Strength Hope and Caring Clinical Award. Kim was nominated by a patient who was seen in her clinic for a recurrent sarcoma.
The patient stated that the incision failed to heal properly which required daily packing for almost two months. The patient, Mr. Ben Loeb, stated that “from the start, this was done by Nurse Kim Bullock [and] particularly important to me was her caring attitude, which included repeated assurances that the incision would eventually heal. I feel this level of personal interest and care, in an era of high tech medicine, is unusual and deserves formal recognition.”
