Michelle Riggan: Helping parents care for their newborns
posted March 3rd, 2010
She was always happy to be there and happy to help in whatever way she could.
Michelle Riggan, RN on Durham Regional Hospital's postpartum floor, was especially helpful to one family.
"She was great for our stay in our postpartum room. She always provided helpful hints on how to care for our newborn whether is was breastfeeding advice or just tips she found to work. She was always happy to be there and happy to help in whatever way she could. We felt confident when our newborn was with her to go to the nursery and she did a great job as a nurse during our stay."
