His dedication and compassion for this patient, as well as his sense of responsibility to the physician relying on the blood work to properly care for this patient, is an example of the type of employee deserving of recognition."
Monty Stratton, a clinical technician III, received a quarterly Strength, Hope and Caring Award.
Monty returned to clinic after his shift was over to ensure that a physician received the needed labs for his patient.
His nominator said, "Both the supervisor and manager of the area were both moved by the dedication of Monty in returning and remaining at the clinic until after 8 p.m. to ensure that everything that could be done for this patient was done. Monty showed that he put our patient first, ahead of his own fatigue and any personal plans he may have had, and made every effort to provide excellent service for the patient and the physician. His dedication and compassion for this patient, as well as his sense of responsibility to the physician relying on the blood work to properly care for this patient, is an example of the type of employee deserving of recognition."
