These four individuals should be recognized for their selfless contributions to the organization
Johnetta Hames, Bernie Stewart, Jessica Folmar and Angela Cotton received a quarterly team Strength, Hope and Caring Award.
Their nominator wrote, "These four individuals exemplify the characteristics of leadership, teamwork, inspiration and caring. They exhibit exemplary service, routinely going above and beyond the normal expectations. They exhibit a caring attitude, always willing to assist personnel. Through their actions, they have raised the standard for patient safety. They ensured that everyone in the PDC was prepared for the Joint Commission accreditation. Through their efforts that accreditation was a success. Bernie's thoroughness and detail-oriented nature contributed to this success. Jessica and Angela have proven to be magnificent additions to the team and are increasing their knowledge and skills. Jonhetta is a special asset to the organization. She is a great listener. She has been a terrific mentor to me. If it were not for her encouragement, I would not have progressed toward my MSN degree. She was the person who assisted me when I first entered the area of outpatient care. Her open door policy provided the mechanism for me to increase my knowledge in this new setting. Through her mentoring, she increased my critical thinking skills in standardization of patient care and Joint Commission Standards. These four individuals should be recognized for their selfless contributions to the organization."
