Racheemba Battles: Helping patients get where they need to be

Racheemba Battles, PRMO, received an Administrative Strength, Hope and Caring Award for helping a patient, who was lost and late for her appointment, find her way to Duke.
The patient called the only number she had for Duke and got Battles. She wrote:
"I just want your organization to know how grateful I am that Racheemba answered the phone. She was a true angel in a human's body. She gave me reason to believe there is still goodness in the world.
Please give this employee a thumbs up, a pat on the back, a star, a blue ribbon, a positive notation. It is people like that working for an organziation that can make or break you. So far, I think I have told 30 plus individuals about her kindness.
I have been a patient for some time now, but have not went out campaigning or singing your organizations praises until now. I could just as easily go to a dermatologist here in Asheboro or Greensboro; I come to Duke. Now, I know why."
