Tonya Jaggers: Offering comfort to her patients

duh2001Tonya Jaggers, radiologist, received the following praise from a patient:

“I would like to give a ‘High Five’ to radiologist Tonya Jaggers. I was diagnosed last year with breast cancer. I had to have several biospies (stereotactic, ultrasound guided, needle guided, MRI guided). Tonya was there for all of them. She held my hand when I was nervous, she talked to me and rubbed my back to help me stay calm. She always told me what was happening and what to expect so I could be prepared. During a scary time in my life it was comforting to see a familiar face through it all. Tonya is definitely a ‘God Send’ to me.”
