20th-anniversary event marks World AIDS Day

Join Duke on World AIDS Day for a 20th anniversary event with the co-creator of World AIDS Day and senior health professionals who have worked on this global crisis for more than two decades.
“Stories from 20 Years of the Epidemic” will take place from 6:30- 8 p.m. Dec. 1 in the Geneen Auditorium at the Fuqua School of Business.
Panelists will include:
- John Bartlett, M.D., Duke Global Health Institute.
- Jim Bunn, co-creator World AIDS Day and producer for Good Morning America.
- Pape Gaye, Intrahealth.
- Kent Weinhold, M.D., Center for AIDS Research at Duke.
The moderator will be Bruce Curran of the UNC School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
The talk is free and open to the public.
