Lighten up: New DFC employee program can get you trim, fit

For the first time, the medically supervised program is offering Duke employees a four-week, intensive curriculum designed to get you on the road to losing weight and improving your fitness level. With experts’ help, you’ll get the tools you need to sail through the holiday season and reach the New Year’s Eve finish line ahead of the pack. While others will be writing their New Years’ resolutions, you’ll be equipped to tackle yours with confidence.
In the past, programs at the Diet and Fitness Center have been tailored to the needs of full-time residential members. For a fraction of the price, you’ll have the unique opportunity to eat the delicious meals prepared by Diet and Fitness Center chefs, work out with their experts, and learn the techniques needed to control weight and get fit.
