Bridging the Gap Training is June 8-12
posted May 26th, 2009Enrollment is open for the International Patient Services’ next Bridging the Gap training session.
The course will be held at the Duke Home Health and Hospice building from June 8-12, 2009.
Bridging the Gap is a basic to intermediate training for medical interpreters developed by CCHCP (Cross Cultural Health Care Program) for bilingual individuals interested in developing and enhancing their medical interpreting skills.

This is not a language course, and all candidates enrolling should be fluent in English as well as a foreign language and be proficient in the culture of the population they will be serving in their role as medical interpreters.
