DRAH kicks off United Way Campaign, Sept. 27
posted September 15th, 2010Duke Raleigh Hospital will kick off its annual United Way Campaign on Sept. 27.
The campaign, which runs through Oct. 9, will being with a luau from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Sept. 27 in the area between Medical Building 6 and the cafeteria patio. Free lunch will be provided.
Duke Raleigh Hospital's goal for the 2010 United Way Campaign is 45 percent employee participation and to raise $70,000.
Departments, with 50 percent of employees involved in the campaign through giving, will receive a free lunch.
On Sept. 30, DRAH will host a hula competition in the cafeteria at 11:30 a.m. Each department is encouraged to send a representative to compete in limbo or hula. The winning department will receive a free lunch.
