posted May 18th, 2009
The latest in a series of Duke Hospital Employee Forums was held from 2-3 p.m. May 20 in 2002 Duke North lecture hall.
The Employee Forums bring Duke Hospital leadership and employees together to discuss initiatives that are important to your work life. The Forums provide opportunities to get detailed information about new projects and offer a big-picture view of what’s going on at the hospital.
At the forum, you will be able to find out what makes a winning Strength, Hope and Caring Award nomination. COO and Interim CEO Kevin Sowers will tell why he created the SHC program. You also can get the inside scoop on what SHC selection committee members look for in a winning nomination, and hear some winning stories that you’ll want to share with co-workers, family and friends. Plus, there will be a special surprise at the end of the forum, cake will be served, and prizes will be given away.
The forums are now held monthly, and employees are encouraged to attend. If you can’t attend, please consider sending someone from your department who can share the latest news with the rest of your staff. An added bonus: Each forum also includes raffles for prizes.
To request monthly e-mail reminders about upcoming forums, send your request to antoinette.parker@duke.edu and include Forum Info Request in the subject line.
