DUHS hosting regional health summit
posted December 5th, 2008Duke University Health System is hosting a regional health summit Dec. 10 in Raleigh to examine the impact of the area’s changing demographics and other emerging trends.
Victor J. Dzau, M.D., chancellor for health affairs and CEO of Duke University Health System, is chairing the session, which will be held from 7:45 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the new Raleigh Convention Center at 500 S. Salisbury St. downtown.
The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. To register.
Also partcipating from DUHS are William J. Fulkerson, M.D, senior vice president of clinical affairs; Kerry Watson, CEO of Durham Regional Hospital; and Douglas B. Vinsel, CEO of Duke Raleigh Hospital.
The featured speaker is Lt. Gov.-elect Walter Dalton. Other participants include:
