Employees can shop early at Duke Gardens sale

Duke Gardens’ fall plant and craft festival is Saturday, Sept. 27, but Duke University employees are invited to a special pre-sale on Friday, Sept. 26, from 3-6 p.m.
Following the Friday sale will be a dinner and live auction. Employees must wear their university ID badge.
The Saturday sale, which lasts from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., includes plants, crafts and snacks; musical entertainment; and gifts and prizes. Vendors, staff horticulturists and Master Gardeners will be available to answer questions and assist in selecting plants to withstand the challenging weather conditions and water restrictions of this area.
Bring a box to carry your purchases. The sale will be held rain or shine.
