Fully simulated Duke Medicine Pavilion “patient rooms” get a test drive by ICU staff and physicians

In a process similar to that used for the Duke Cancer Center facility, nurses, surgeons and physicians visited full-scale mock-ups of patient rooms that will be part of Duke Medicine Pavilion.

The teams interacted with the environment using real-life treatment scenarios to determine how the rooms should be set up to help them best care for patients.
