Find out how this gingerbread house is bringing gifts to DUH patients.

GingerbreadHouseMadeByJohnHillsonUnit 9100 at Duke University Hospital is getting into the holiday spirit to help bring cheer to its patients.  Staff members are volunteering their time and efforts to raise money for holiday gifts for the patients.

John Hillson‘s fourth gingerbread house is currently on display in 9100.  The house is being raffled off for the cause.  Tickets are $1 each, or six for $5.

Alice Meise and Kristy Everette have organized this raffle for the past three years to raise money for holiday presents for the 9th floor patients.

This year’s raffle will be held at 4 p.m. Dec. 12 in Room 9242 (across from 9th floor elevators.) You do not have to be present to win.

In addition to the gingerbread house, other raffle items include gift certificates, gift baskets, iPods, and many more great prizes.
